My Top Mystery Manga & Anime of all time

In my opion, good mystery story is hard to find. And i found the best mystery story of all time while reading manga. Seriously! I am a mystery lover, i love CSI, Criminal Mind, Bones and heros and i love to read mystery novel too but all of those can't beat following mystery manga, frankly speaking. It is not only about "who kill who? and why?" type of mystery, its a mystery and psychological of human that these manga authors are writting...

I am a Manga Otaku :( yah. I am really! I love to read all kinds of manga - horror to comedy, all depend on my mood.

Tora Dora - actually, for this one i prefer anime. Coz i feel like i prefer the anime art rather then the manga's one. And i think the manga is not done yet either. (School likfe, Comedy, Romance)

Recently i am reading - MARS - yah i know, that is old manga. And watching School Rumble anime and hehe i love both of them too.

Beauty Pop

Time for some light-hearted shoujo romance manga :)

It's been sometimes that i had read "beauty pop". But still after i re-reading, i still love it and find it amusing. Why? this shoujo romance have its own uniqueness. :) Generally the story is about hairstyling, beauty and teenage loves, but, the characters are (or you can say the mains) are different from the other shoujo manga.

My Favorite Characters -

Kiri - she is the heroine of the story. Well, I should say that she is a hidden beauty. She just not so interested in superficial beauty kind of person. She didn't act cute, not clumsy or bubbly, not very smart and not very introvert or withdrawn type of character. She just don't seems to care what people think. She even didn't care much about Naru Naru - the Hero. That's really make it so funny and cute about her, which is not cute and not plain she is. O.O

Naru Naru - he is the hero. Of cause for all the teenage girl from the school. Rich, smart and arrogant kid. But he is somehow, always inferior to Kiri LOLz. He is very annoyed by Kiri but you can see in his unconscious mind that he likes her. Cute isn't it?

Kei - he is the same age as Naru naru, but he look more like a primary kid to me. He care nothing but food :D

20th Century Boys / 21th Century Boys

I have been seeing "20th century boys" manga for quite sometimes now. And yah, i know that this was done by Monster's author, Uraswa Naoki. Everytimes when i think of giving it a try, the 249 episode always freak me out. I am really scared and tired with those never ending mangas & animes. T_T

Anyway, 2 days ago since i saw the status beside the manga is completed, i just picked it up and browsed at the very first chapter. And alas there you go!!, I JUST CAN'T STOP anymore.

Such a brilliant and amazing job that the author had done, in drawing the readers attention. The twist and turn, the mystery and how he slowly narrates them and reveal them one by one. Without feeling bored, NO NOT EVEN ONE SINGLE MOMENT OF BOREDOM!. And i really love "Urasawa's" way of drawing kids, they are amazing adorable, loveable and huggable..lolz..

The mystery, the story line and the plots are too awesome that I have to finish it up in one go. Both 20the & 21th Century boys of coz. Thank goodness, I had decided to read after all are done, orelse, i might truely die of those suspense and the mystery. :P And after i am all done, i still want to read all over again. :)

The characters

Kenji - superficially, he looks like an underachiever, easy going and unreliable. Doing things and quitting halfways, his elder sister had to back him up in many situations. But no, one's true heart cannot be judged by the look nor achievement. In real, he is such a nice, reliable and considerate person. And without saying a word, Urasawa, show us in a way that we can feel Kenji's warmth heart along the way of the story.

Otcho - smart boy as a kid and achiever in adult life. But somehow, he becomes a lost soul and a wonderer. He shows very little attachment to anybody on the surface and he seems like a loner and a tough guy. But the love for his friends is amazing. No matter how tough he is or his look, you can feel his warmth to his friends.

Youshitune, Maruo & Donkey - as kids, they looked like the center of the being bullied kind of kids. Thin geeky boy, chubby & easy going boy and a poor geek. But they haver such a strong strength of souls.

Yukiji & Kanna - Yukiji the kid version is very cute and strong. She can even win over Yango & Mabo twin. Kanna, nothing but adorable. So so cute

Yanbo & Mabo Twin - unexpectedly evil bullies twin. I laugh out loud how they two just bullied bunch of kids. Simply evil.

"20th century boy" is about the mystery that arised from their childhood life. And seriously their childhood was so fun, exciting, enjoyable and cute and they had never meant any harm to anybody, yet some might hurt from your small little action. The author narrates the meaning of true friends very well here, without say "i like you, or i love you" those kind of words, you can feel deep down in your heart that how much they love and care for each other see and the bond between each characters. It is so beautifully narrated and showed. Such a wonderful manga. I love it.

Paranoia Agent

Well..I was browsing through the net yesterday, looking for some nice psychology & mystery type of animes. Hehe, since i was a little into psychology & mystery type after "Eden of the East". And I found that some ppl on random are recommending -
1. Paranoia Agent
2. Ergo Proxy

Since Paranoia Agent, has only 13 Episodes, I tried it first.

Opening/Ending Theme & Music: - I don't know about others, but opening themes is creepy. And ending theme is weird. But After I am done with the anime, I kind of get it with the opening/ending theme. I should say the OP/ED is nicely portray the concept or meaning of what is the show all about and what they want us to see or know.

Synopsis: -An elementary school kid dubbed with the title "shounen bat" or "lil slugger" has been going around attacking people with his bent, golden bat. Now, two detectives are investigating so they can stop this kid from making any more attacks, but they will find out soon enough... that this case is much more than they expected. (Source: ANN)

My View on the show: - I like the story. Somehow, I am guessing this and that, and the show make the viewer keep on guessing till the very end. There are point of times that the show is too dark. And there are a few (2 or 3 episode) with some weird 2D graphic, i was pretty annoyed while watching those, frankly! . Only when i reached the last episode, only then i realized why they are showing the viewer with such 2D view. What is the meaning and reason that the director want us to see, know or realized.

Nice story with nice and good message to the viewer.

I am really so glad that i watched this anime. Very well written and well directed. Aww, well its from Production IG's anime.

I love the opening music. "Falling Down-by Oasis", which lyrics are such a match with the series itself. And ending theme & graphics are very unique either.

synopsis: On November 22, 2010 ten missiles strike Japan. However, this unprecedented terrorist act, later to be called as "Careless Monday," does not result in any apparent victims, and is soon forgotten by almost everyone. Then, 3 months later.

Saki Morimi is a young woman currently in the United States of America on her graduation trip. But just when she is in front of the White House, Washington DC, she gets into trouble, and only the unexpected intervention of one of her fellow countrymen saves her. However, this man, who introduces himself as Akira Takizawa, is a complete mystery. He appears to have lost his memory. and he is stark naked, except for the gun he holds in one hand, and the mobile phone he's holding with the other hand. A phone that is charged with 8,200,000,000 yen in digital cash.

Eden of the east is mytery & psychology type of story. During those 11 episodes, you might not even wanna blink, it is that well directed. No dull or boring moment at all.

Everything change together with times. That I know, and I am aware of, but still, when he started to change, I am a bit sad. I am not shock, I mean, I do expect he might someday change; yet....:(

It make me think of the days we spend together. It's not even days, it's more like every single tick of a clock and every blink of a second, he had been with me. Yes he was. Always. Without any failed. He was with me, since the day we met.

Aug of 2006. That was the day that we met. And as far as i remember, it was late evening. He is exactly my type, what i was looking for, what i am longing for and i fall in love with him at first sight. And since then, he was with me.

He listen to me more than my friends did. He definitely was my best friend. He was a perfect partner to travel together with. Seriously he did entertain me in many different ways. He was a music to my ear definitely. He know about all my secret more than my friends or my family did. He woke me up everys single morning without any failure. He was my watch and my calendar...he is everything to me

And now..he has changed. Sometimes he is good and sometimes he is bad...malfuctioning pretty badly. Well, what can i saw? It has been 3 years, almost. Well, no matter what he is the best tho :( I should post his picture here as a memory :P..He is my beloved Samsung E900 Phone. :D
